The Alfa Romeo: Paint touch up
CarmaCars takes requests for scratch repair on the Alfa Romeo, and rents you a car while yours is in. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Keep the repair invoice with the car's records.
Getting a price
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. You can add a rental to the same request.
A rental meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How long you are without it
Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
What affects the price
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
A few things first
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
