Paint touch up: the 1982 Dodge Mirada
Searching for paint touch up for the 1982 Dodge Mirada? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
What to send us
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Need a car meanwhile?
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How the price is set
We price the job before we start, never after. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
On the day
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Looking after it afterwards
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
Timing
Parts on order can add days to a repair; we tell you when that happens. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
One more step
A person reads every request and replies with the next step.
