Your ACL and scratch repair
Your 1985 GMC ACL and scratch repair: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted.
Your ACL, up close
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
How to request it
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
A rental while we work
While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Keeping it that way
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
Before you drop the car off
Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
How long you are without it
A clear timeline comes with every quote. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
What affects the price
Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Ready when you are
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
