Your WCL and scratch repair
The 1989 GMC WCL needs scratch repair? Send photos and when it suits you. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
About your WCL
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
Booking a time
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Ask anything about the work in the request. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Driving while yours is in
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Getting the car ready
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Timing
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
What affects the price
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation.
Looking after it afterwards
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
