Booking the work for the WHR
The 1985 GMC WHR needs scratch repair? Send photos and when it suits you. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.
Getting a price
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
A rental meanwhile
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. A rental means the work does not stop your week. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
How long you are without it
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
A few things first
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
Looking after it afterwards
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Your move
Send a request with a few photos, and we reply with a price.
