The 1987 GMC WIS: Paint touch up
Here is how we handle scratch repair for the 1987 GMC WIS: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted.
Your WIS, up close
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
Getting a quote
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Ask anything about the work in the request. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Keep your week on track
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
A few things first
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
After the work
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
Why prices differ
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
