Your Optima and scratch repair
Searching for paint touch up for the 2020 Kia Optima? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted.
What your car means for the work
As a large sedan, it is a straightforward size for this work. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
What to send us
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. You can add a rental to the same request. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
A rental meanwhile
While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. We collect the rental when your car is ready. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Why prices differ
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
How long you are without it
Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
Before you drop the car off
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Looking after it afterwards
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car.
