Booking the work for the Gravity
CarmaCars takes requests for scratch repair on the 2026 Lucid Gravity, and rents you a car while yours is in. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
As a full-size SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request. There are 3 NHTSA recall campaigns on file for it; a dealer can check by the VIN.
The request
Ask anything about the work in the request. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
Keep driving meanwhile
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. A rental means the work does not stop your week. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Keeping it that way
New paint needs time to harden fully; ask us when it is safe to wash and wax. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
How long you are without it
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
A few things first
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim.
