Your 4Runner and scratch repair
CarmaCars takes requests for scratch repair on the 2000 Toyota 4Runner, and rents you a car while yours is in. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
As an SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. NHTSA lists no recall campaign for this model year.
From request to appointment
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
A rental while we work
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Add a rental to the same request as the work. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How long it takes
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it.
How the price is set
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
What to bring
Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Photos of the damage taken at the scene help with the repair and the claim.
Aftercare
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
