Paint touch up: the 2012 Toyota 4Runner
Paint touch up for the 2012 Toyota 4Runner: send a request and a person replies with a price and a time. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.
The car itself
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. There are 8 NHTSA recall campaigns on file for it; a dealer can check by the VIN.
Booking the work
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. You can add a rental to the same request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Driving while yours is in
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. A rental means the work does not stop your week. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
What affects the price
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more.
When the car is ready
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. Small repairs can take hours; paint and collision work can take days.
What to bring
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim.
Looking after it afterwards
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
