The Ford C700: Polishing
This page covers paint correction for the Ford C700, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
What your car means for the work
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Your request
You can add a rental to the same request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Need a car meanwhile?
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
What affects the price
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Looking after it afterwards
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
