Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Your 2017 Ford Flex: the work
Your 2017 Ford Flex and paint correction: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your Flex, up close
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a full-size SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
What happens after you ask
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Driving while yours is in
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
What to bring
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
Timing
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it.
How the price is set
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more.
After the work
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
Your move
Book the work and a rental in one request.
