The 2012 Ford Taurus: Polishing
Polishing for the 2012 Ford Taurus: send a request and a person replies with a price and a time. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your Taurus, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. As a large sedan, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
Getting a quote
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Driving while yours is in
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
A few things first
Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
When the car is ready
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
What affects the price
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
Keeping it that way
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
