Polishing for the 1981 GMC C7
Here is how we handle paint correction for the 1981 GMC C7: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Your C7, up close
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Your request
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. You can add a rental to the same request.
Keep your week on track
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
How the price is set
We price the job before we start, never after. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more.
When the car is ready
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
Keeping it that way
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Still deciding?
Tell us what the car needs and when it is free.

Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
