Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the DK
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1995 GMC DK, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your DK, up close
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
From request to appointment
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Ask anything about the work in the request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Stay on the road
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Aftercare
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
What goes into a quote
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
How long it takes
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
What to bring
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
