Polishing for the 1983 GMC Value Van
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1983 GMC Value Van, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
What your car means for the work
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
What to send us
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
A rental meanwhile
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. Add a rental to the same request as the work. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Looking after it afterwards
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
Timing
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Why prices differ
Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Make a request
Send photos and a few details, and a person replies with the next step.
Request polishing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
