Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
The work on your Value Van
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1986 GMC Value Van, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
What happens after you ask
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. You can add a rental to the same request. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
A rental meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Aftercare
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Before you drop the car off
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
When the car is ready
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
Pricing, plainly
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
Make a request
Send photos and a few details, and a person replies with the next step.
Request polishing
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
