Polishing: your MX-5
This page covers paint correction for the 2001 Mazda MX-5, and a rental while the car is with us. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your MX-5, up close
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What to send us
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Keep your week on track
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
After the work
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
How the price is set
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
How long you are without it
Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
Before you drop the car off
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Still deciding?
Send a request with a few photos, and we reply with a price.
