Polishing for the VPG
This page covers paint correction for the VPG, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
From request to appointment
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A rental meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the work. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Keeping it that way
Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing.
Why prices differ
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
A few things first
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Timing
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
