PPF: your iX
This page covers paint protection film for the 2023 BMW iX, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
What your car means for the work
An electric car needs care around its charging port and sensors. As a full-size SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Getting a price
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Keep your week on track
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
How the price is set
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Timing
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
On the day
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
Aftercare
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
