PPF: the 1985 BMW L7
CarmaCars takes requests for paint protection film on the 1985 BMW L7, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
Size and finish
Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Booking a time
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Stay on the road
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
A few things first
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Planning around the work
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
After the work
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
