PPF: the 1997 Ford Contour
For paint protection film on the 1997 Ford Contour, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
Your Contour, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
Getting a price
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Keep your week on track
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. A rental means the work does not stop your week. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
How the price is set
A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. We price the job before we start, never after.
Before you drop the car off
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
When the car is ready
A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
Looking after it afterwards
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges.
