Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the LA8000
Your 1981 Ford LA8000 and paint protection film: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
Your LA8000, up close
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Getting a price
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A car while yours is in
Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. We collect the rental when your car is ready. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Why prices differ
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation.
How long it takes
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
Before you drop the car off
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Aftercare
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
Make a request
Tell us about the car and the work, and we take it from there.
Request ppf
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
