PPF: the 1997 Ford LT8501
For paint protection film on the 1997 Ford LT8501, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
Size and finish
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a price
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. You can add a rental to the same request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Driving while yours is in
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. We collect the rental when your car is ready. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What affects the price
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
How long it takes
A clear timeline comes with every quote. Coatings and paint need time to cure, which is part of the schedule.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Aftercare
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
