Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the R Conventional
Book paint protection film for the 1987 GMC R Conventional, with a rental meanwhile if you need one. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
Your R Conventional, up close
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Booking the work
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Ask anything about the work in the request.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Before you drop the car off
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
How long you are without it
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. We keep you posted if the timing changes.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.
Keeping it that way
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges.
