Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Booking the work for the R Conventional
CarmaCars takes requests for paint protection film on the 1990 GMC R Conventional, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
The car itself
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
The request
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Ask anything about the work in the request. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
A rental meanwhile
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Getting the car ready
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Planning around the work
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
What goes into a quote
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
Send a request
Tell us what the car needs and when it is free.
