PPF: the 1985 Isuzu Impulse
For paint protection film on the 1985 Isuzu Impulse, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
The car itself
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. As a small car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
What happens after you ask
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
A rental while we work
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
How long you are without it
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
What affects the price
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. We price the job before we start, never after.
Keeping it that way
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
Getting the car ready
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
