Your Rivian R1T: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for paint protection film on the Rivian R1T, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.
About your R1T
Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
From request to appointment
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Ask anything about the work in the request.
A rental while we work
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
How long you are without it
Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
What goes into a quote
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
Before you drop the car off
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Keeping it that way
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges.
When you know your dates
