The 2024 Tesla Model Y Performance: PPF

CarmaCars takes requests for paint protection film on the 2024 Tesla Model Y Performance, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.

Your Model Y, up close

A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.

Booking a time

Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.

Keep your week on track

We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Planning around the work

If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.

Looking after it afterwards

A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges.

How the price is set

If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.

Before you drop the car off

If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
