The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting it

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have no Red Shift on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Licence, age and card

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

The booking steps

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
