A note on Knobs

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Knobs is about 692 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

Close by are Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union, each with its own page.

Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Fuel use is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 24 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.83.

Who the A4 suits

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. NHTSA lists it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

From request to keys

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Questions first?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
