Replacement car rental: red 2021 Nissan Altima S in Java

Replacement car rental with this car

Renting the 2021 Nissan Altima S as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Altima and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The figures, translated

The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.4 L/100 km, which means roughly 22 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $11.47 to drive 100 km.

Who the Altima suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

The Altima in everyday use

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

From your dates to the handover

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
