Replacement car rental: the PAS

This PAS page is written for a car while yours is off the road: the car first, then renting it from us. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Who it is for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can you rent one?

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have no PAS on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Who qualifies

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How a booking comes together

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay when you approve, and only then.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
