Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Booking, step by step

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
