RideAlike alternative: Genesis

RideAlike alternative: the Genesis

For a rental car, the Genesis is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting one from us

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We have no Genesis on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

From request to keys

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
