RideAlike alternative: Karma

The Karma: RideAlike alternative

This Karma page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Under the hood

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can you rent one?

Name the Karma model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We have no Karma on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Your booking, in three steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
