RideAlike alternative: brown 2021 Kia Sorento LX in Yameri

RideAlike alternative and the 2021 Kia Sorento LX

If a rental car is the plan, the 2021 Kia Sorento LX is worth a look; here is why. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

A note on Yameri

Yameri is about 3,364 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri.

Also close to Yameri: San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec.

Under the hood

Under the hood: the 2.5L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 27 litres, from its 9.0 L/100 km rating. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.95.

Room inside

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who rents the Sorento

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Can I rent it?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

What to expect when you book

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
