RideAlike alternative: Mobility Ventures

The Mobility Ventures: RideAlike alternative

For a rental car, here is what the Mobility Ventures brings, and how to request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have no Mobility Ventures on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

From request to keys

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
