RideAlike alternative: Vector W8

RideAlike alternative and the Vector W8

RideAlike alternative and the Vector W8: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

What to expect from the W8

As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.

Who the W8 suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

In our fleet

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Booking, step by step

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Licence, age and card

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
