    Your Cherokee and rust repair

This page covers rust repair for the 2020 Jeep Cherokee Altitude, and a rental while the car is with us. Rust is cut out or treated, then the area is refinished.

    Your Cherokee, up close

As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. NHTSA lists 3 recall campaigns for this model; a repair visit is a good moment to ask whether each was done.

    Getting a quote

Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.

    When the car is ready

You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.

    On the day

Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.

    Keeping it that way

Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.

    How the price is set

We price the job before we start, never after. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
