The work on your Forester

For rust repair on the 2020 Subaru Forester Base, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Rust is cut out or treated, then the area is refinished.

About your Forester

We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Keep the repair invoice with the car's records.

Getting a quote

We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.

A rental while we work

While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

What to bring

Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.

Planning around the work

We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.

Looking after it afterwards

Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.

How the price is set

The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
