CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The Fisker: Safety certificate
For a safety certificate on the Fisker, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the arrangement works
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Ask us
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
