About your Cooper

Questions to ask the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
