Representative photoSafety certificate for a Qvale
Safety certificate for the Qvale: CarmaCars does not do this work itself. Request it and we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one, and we can deliver a rental car to you while yours is in.
A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The Qvale: Safety certificate
Safety certificate for the Qvale: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
The steps
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is back. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
A short checklist
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Next step
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
