CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Safety certificate for the Renault
Safety certificate for the Renault: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Details the shop needs
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What to send us
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Still deciding?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
