Safety certificate for the Roush: CarmaCars does not do this work itself. Request it and we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one, and we can deliver a rental car to you while yours is in.
A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Safety certificate: how we help
For a safety certificate on the Roush, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Your car, your notes
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How the request works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
When you know your dates
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
