A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Safety certificate: how we help
Your Saab 900 needs a safety certificate? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Your 900 and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How the arrangement works
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car while yours is in the shop
We collect the rental when your car is back. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Good habits for your car
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions first?
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
