Safety certificate for the Subaru GL: CarmaCars does not do this work itself. Request it and we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one, and we can deliver a rental car to you while yours is in.
A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the GL
Safety certificate for your Subaru GL: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. A used car you buy in Ontario needs a Safety Standards Certificate before it can be plated.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What CarmaCars does here
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Getting a clear quote
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Car care, briefly
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Still deciding?
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
