A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The Vinfast: Safety certificate
For a safety certificate on the Vinfast, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Stay on the road
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. The rental is priced like any other on our site. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
What to ask
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Make a request
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
