CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The VPG: Suspension repair
Your VPG needs suspension work? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Worn suspension parts affect braking and steering, not only comfort.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the arrangement works
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Between shop visits
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
What to ask
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Over to you
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request suspension repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
